Loading Dock Equipment Sales in Jeddo, PA
We help warehouses, plants and stores around Jeddo, Hazleton and Freeland buy dock levelers, vehicle restraints and dock doors that fit the dock they actually have. You get a measured site visit, a written quote with options and a plain reason behind each one.
Buying dock equipment without the guesswork
We sell dock levelers, vehicle restraints, overhead doors, high speed doors and rolling grilles to warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturers and stores with receiving docks. Before we suggest anything, we look at the dock you have: pit size, dock height, the trailers that back in and how many loads cross it in a shift.
Buying new is usually the right call when a piece of equipment costs more to keep running than it is worth, when your trucks or forklifts have changed, or when you are adding doors or fitting out a new space. If a repair makes more sense, we say so.
Most of what we sell, we also put in. That means the person sizing your leveler is already thinking about how it goes into your pit. The install side is covered on our Loading Dock Equipment Installation page.
What we sell and help you choose
Dock levelers
Pit levelers in hydraulic, mechanical and air-powered models, plus edge-of-dock units for lighter duty. Capacity and lip length are matched to your heaviest loaded forklift and the spread of trailer heights at your doors.
Vehicle restraints
Restraints that grab the trailer's rear impact guard so it can't drift off while a forklift is aboard. We measure your approach and guard heights before suggesting a style.
Overhead doors
Sectional and rolling steel doors made for dock openings. We fit them to the opening and go over insulation, vision panels and how often the door opens each day.
High speed doors
Quick-moving fabric and rigid doors for busy inside openings and cold or climate-controlled rooms, where each minute the door is open loses heat or product.
Rolling grilles
Grilles for openings that need air and a clear view but still must lock, such as a receiving area once the day is done.
Line-by-line quotes
Every written quote shows the unit, the options, hauling off the old equipment and the install on their own lines, so you can line it up against another bid with ease.

Signs it is time to buy instead of repair
- Repair bills keep stacking up
- If the same leveler or door has been fixed three times this year, add up those bills. At some point a new unit costs less than keeping the old one alive.
- Your forklifts outgrew the leveler
- Heavier lift trucks, electric units with big batteries or more loads per shift can push a leveler past its rated capacity. A bent lip or cracked deck plate is the usual result.
- The lip will not reach the trailer
- If drivers fight steep grades or the lip falls short of the trailer bed, the leveler length or working range is wrong for the trailers you get now.
- No restraint, or one that misses
- Trailer creep and early pull-outs cause serious dock accidents. If you rely on chocks alone, or your restraint will not catch the guard, it is time to look at a new one.
- Doors that leak heat or keep getting hit
- Long Pennsylvania winters make a drafty, dented dock door expensive to run. Constant forklift strikes may mean a high speed door or a different door style suits that opening better.
How a purchase goes with us
- 1
A phone call first
Tell us what you have, what is failing and what you think you need. We ask about trucks, forklifts and traffic so the site visit is worth your time.
- 2
We measure the dock
We come to your facility, measure the pit, openings and dock height, and check the concrete and curb angles. Photos of what we find go with the quote.
- 3
Options with reasons
You get a written quote with one or two options and why each one fits. If fixing what you have is the better move, we tell you that instead.
- 4
Ordering and scheduling
Once you choose, we order the equipment and set an install date around your shipping schedule, so a door is not down on your busiest day.
- 5
Install and hand-off
Our crew installs and tests the equipment, then walks your dock staff through how it works and what to watch for.
What moves the price
Equipment prices swing a lot from one dock to the next. The unit itself is only part of it. The rest depends on what your dock needs to accept it and how much work the install takes.
- Type and capacity
- A hydraulic leveler rated for heavy forklifts costs more than a mechanical unit for light carts. Higher capacity, longer decks and longer lips all add steel.
- Pit and opening condition
- Cracked curb angles, a pit that is out of square or a damaged door jamb have to be fixed before new equipment goes in. We point these out on the quote, not after the job starts.
- Options and controls
- Insulated door panels, interlocks between the restraint, leveler and door, and combined control panels add cost. They also add safety at a busy dock.
- Removal and power
- Pulling out old equipment, hauling it away and running new electrical service for hydraulic or powered units show up as their own line items.
- How many doors at once
- Doing several docks in one project spreads the site visit and crew setup across more doors.
Questions about buying dock equipment
- Do you just sell equipment, or install it too?
- We do both. Most customers buy and have us install, since sizing and installing go hand in hand. If you have your own contractor, we can go over what to order and what the install will require.
- Should I go with a hydraulic or mechanical leveler?
- Hydraulic levelers run on a push button, need less effort from dock staff and handle heavy, frequent traffic well. Mechanical levelers cost less up front but rely on springs and a pull chain that need regular adjustment. For a busy warehouse we usually lean hydraulic. For a few trucks a week, mechanical can be fine.
- Can a new leveler drop into my existing pit?
- Usually, yes. We measure the pit length, width and depth, and many replacement levelers are built for standard pit sizes. Odd sizes may need concrete work or a custom unit, and we tell you which before you order.
- How long from order to install?
- It depends on the equipment and the manufacturer's lead time. Standard levelers and doors tend to arrive sooner than custom sizes or high speed doors. We give you expected timing with the quote and keep you posted if it changes.
- Do I really need a vehicle restraint?
- Trailers have to be kept from moving while forklifts are inside, and wheel chocks are one way to do that. Many facilities add a restraint because chocks get forgotten or set wrong. We can lay out both options and you decide what fits your dock.
- Will you tell me if I do not need new equipment?
- Yes. If a repair or a round of preventative maintenance will get you more good years, we say so and quote that instead. Selling you a leveler you do not need is not how we want to keep customers.
